Welcome to the Help Pages for WebSMaRT 2.5. Here you will find the Users Manual for webSMaRT, as well as other resources, including a User's Forum, where webSmaRT users can share information on how they leverage webSMaRT in their organizations.
The help files are organized to allow you to quickly find the information you need, whether it is a step by step guide to using a webSMaRT function, or an in-depth discussion on how best to use the tools in webSMaRT.
This manual is divided into four sections
This section of the manual is designed to show the user all of the functions available within each page. It is meant to familiarize the user with the overall functionality of the entire page, while including instructions for task specific functions.
PAGES are divided into tabs, each of which contains separate, but related information. For example, the My Info Page holds a wealth of information about the USER'S individual status, subdivided by TABS into specific areas of interest, like HR information, Required Reading assignments, Job and Organization assignments, and so on. Each TAB is broken down into functional areas called BOXES. Boxes may simply provide information, or may be used to provide new input into webSMaRT, depending on the assigned USER ROLE.
All functions associated with each PAGE, TAB, and BOX are called out in this section, with links to the specific instructions for their use. These links open in the same browser tab so you won't lose your place in the manual by looking up instructions. Just hit the Back" button on your browser to return to your place.

This section of the manual contains links to detailed instructions for task specific functions. If you know what you want to do, just not how to do it, this section is for you. The Functions are separated by USER ROLE, since different USER roles may perform similar functions in a different way.
This section of the manual outlines the tasks and information that is accessible based on the User's assigned security role. webSMaRT has ten defined USER ROLES, each with it's own levels of access to PAGES, TABS, and FUNCTIONS.
These roles are described more fully in the references and resources section of this manual.
This section of the manual provides materials that help to understand how webSmaRT works and how to leverage its capabilities.
